Look at all the news that his happening, all over the world, almost daily and you will see the very things recorded in the Bible regarding end times prophecy, including the words of Jesus Christ Himself as warnings that the end is near.
We have seen an unprecedented increase in seismic activity, volcanic eruptions, drought, wars and rumors of wars, a hatred for what is good and a love for what is evil, strange weather patterns, natural disasters in general, terrorism, murder, lust and sexual sin, economical stress, disease and illness, the deterioration of the church along with the foundations of the Bible being perverted and corrupted, and so much more. Is there any doubt that we are on the verge of seeing the start of the tribulation?
In an article from Billy Graham Answers, he was asked how bad will it have to get before Jesus Christ finally returns. The following is Billy Graham’s answer:
The Bible warns us against making precise predictions about the exact time of Jesus’ return—but His return is certain, and we may well be living in the last days before He comes again. The Bible says, “The night is nearly over; the day is almost here” (Romans 13:12).
Shortly before returning to Heaven Jesus told His disciples that someday He would come back to establish His Kingdom. But before that could take place, He said, certain things would have to happen—and we see many of these today. For example, He said that before His return the Gospel must be preached throughout the world (see Mark 13:10). Never before has this been possible—but now it is, through radio and the Internet and other modern means of communication.
You also have placed your finger on another sign Jesus gave: Satan’s final attempt to halt God’s work through a massive onslaught of evil. Our world is no stranger to evil; Satan has always been working to stop God’s plans. But God’s enemies now have access to modern weapons of mass destruction, and no one can predict what the outcome will be. Jesus said, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. … Nation will rise against nation” (Matthew 24:6-7).
Are we not seeing these things, and more? Where he mentions “Satan’s final attempt to halt God’s work through a massive onslaught of evil..” I am reminded of a few things, however, the main thing that comes to mind is the censorship we are seeing all over the internet, and even in people’s homes. For example, I reported on Prophecy in the News approximately a month ago about a family in Pennsylvania who was told they are no longer allowed to have Bible study in their home. Here is an excerpt from the CBN news article posted on August 11, 2018:
Scott and Terri Fetterolf have owned their 32-acre farm for about fifteen years. They also have a yarn and wool shop, sell fresh produce, flowers and other goods, provide classes to teach people to use the products they sell on the farm, and host private events like bridal showers and prayer groups. But their freedom to worship on their own property has now been called into question.
They were served a cease-and-desist order late last year by the borough of Sewickley Heights, requiring them to cease and desist bible studies and characterizing them as a “special or studio school”, which requires the homeowner to go through a lengthy conditional use approval process to receive permission before bible studies could resume. The order further ordered them to cease and desist a worship night, a religious retreat, and a religious fundraiser for kids in Africa via the Kenya Christian Education Partnership, claiming those events were only permissible in zones where “places of worship or assembly” are permitted.
If the Fetterolfs continue bible studies without obtaining permission or conduct any worship nights, religious retreats, or religious fundraisers, the borough will fine the Fetterolfs $500 per day.
So not only are we seeing people shut down on the internet, such as Alex Jones and Mike the Health Ranger, as well as Christian and conservative YouTube Channels (like mine) being hindered and attacked, but we are also seeing Satan trying to interfere with Christian freedom and worship in the home.
My friends, the signs are in our face like never before and it has never been more obvious than it is today that Jesus Christ is coming soon, and the end truly is near!
