Two of Satan’s Biggest Weapons Destroying the Body of Christ Today (Video)

Christians are faced with more obstacles today than ever before. At work, at home, in the grocery store, on television, the internet, and more—obstacles! In fact, the main target is our homes. If Satan can corrupt and break down the family, he can corrupt and destroy the church. And that is exactly what he is doing.

John 10:10 tells us “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill and to destroy. I have come that you may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”

Are we seeing an over-abundance of spiritual life in the world today? In our homes? In the church? I think the answer is an obvious no.  Instead, we are seeing unprecedented evil infiltrating the church accompanied by spiritual death.

The Bible tells us that people will depart from the truth and give ear to lying spirits.  1 Timothy 4:1-3 says, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; 2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; 3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.”

Satan is diligently at work in many ways, some more obvious than others. We are seeing signs fulfilled such as the one world religion, known as ‘interfaith’ or ‘Chrislam’. The lukewarm, watered down false church, (or religion), of the end times is alive and growing. Calling good what is evil, and evil what is good has become commonplace in the world. And the spirit of political correctness has sunk so deep into the church, many are either unaware of its presence or refuse to discuss it.

Revelation 3:15-16 clearly states, “I know your works, that you are neither cold nor hot. I could wish you were cold or hot. 16 So then, because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will vomit you out of My mouth.”

When I read this passage, it is apparent to me that God hates lukewarm false Christianity so much, He would prefer someone completely cold or completely hot. God is so disgusted by this lukewarm, false end times church that he vomits it from His mouth. Knowing this, why would anyone desire to be a part of this modern day, lukewarm church that God warned us about in the Bible? Has the church taken in the famous motto, “If it feels good, do it”? Being a ‘true’ Christian is a sacrifice. We are to rejoice in our suffering and lean on God, but we are never to follow the ways of the world or have any appearance of the world.

1 Thessalonians 5:14-22 14 Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men. 15 See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men. 16 Rejoice evermore. 17 Pray without ceasing. 18 In every thing give thanks: for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus concerning you. 19 Quench not the Spirit. 20 Despise not prophesyings. 21 Prove all things; hold fast that which is good. 22 Abstain from all appearance of evil. (Emphasis mine)

Not only do all of these scriptures reveal how Satan is stealing, killing and destroying the family and the church, but 1 Peter 5:8 says, “Be sober, be vigilant, because your adversary the devil as a roaring lion, walketh about seeking whom he may devour.” It is through the corruption of the family and godly moral values in which Satan is creeping into the body of Christ, thus bringing about the end times church which preaches apostasy in these last days.

The family is struggling. People are trying to serve God to the best of “their” ability (note the word “their”) and failing to no end. We are the generation who will witness the return of Jesus Christ. It’s time to lean on Him completely in faith and obedience and stop trying to do it our way.

You might ask, “But how is the enemy getting into my home?” Here are ‘some’ of the ways he is gaining access:

-TV

-All areas of entertainment, including music and video games

-At work, stress, negativity, men and women working closely together facing sexual temptation

-The internet and social media

-Strife

-Pornography, lust and all forms of sexual perversions and sexual addiction

-Witchcraft, which also includes rebellion

Satan also sneaks into homes through:

-Reading materials

-Our words

-The false judgment message, which keeps people from telling others the truth, which prevents repentance because it prevents conviction of sin, which also leads to political correctness not only in the world, but in the Body of Christ

-The occult and worldly messages, including homosexuality, false religion, and all forms of godlessness being taught to children in public schools

These are only some of the ways the enemy is breaking down and destroying the family, and the Body of Christ.

The Bible warns that Satan can appear as an angel of light. He is coming into our homes in the most ‘seemingly’ innocent of ways. Don’t you see people, for example, excusing their television shows they idolize that are filled with things Jesus Himself would never agree with us watching? Don’t you hear people excusing all sorts of sinful activities that seem, overall, to be okay when they’re not?  The moral standards of this nation have been flushed away and replaced with garbage that is being pumped in through the sewage pipeline to hell.

Instead of standing on God’s Truth and waging war against the kingdom of hell, people have decided to meet Satan halfway, or completely give in to him.  When Satan comes up against us, we are to be ready and armored up, boldly rebuking him in Jesus’ name with authority. In fact, whenever Satan sneaks into our lives, we are to wage war against all of hell in Jesus’ name, renewing our minds with God’s promises.

Yet, in the midst of a storm this can be one of the most difficult things to do. In the heat of the moment, we are to cry out to God and pick up all the weapons of warfare God has graciously equipped us with. Ephesians 6:10-20 provides us with a detailed list.

Many of you have heard the saying, “Fight fire with fire!” Fight the fires of hell with the fire of God’s power, because all the powers of hell combined are no match against the power of the Holy Spirit.

Through Jesus, God has given us the power to overcome Satan.  It may not happen the way you want it to happen, it may not feel the way you want it to feel, and it may not happen when you want it to happen. That is why we have to trust Him in ALL things.  And even as I write this, I speak these things to myself because I personally know it’s never an easy task.

Faith is NOT getting what you want, but TRUSTING God even when you do not get what you want. We must trust God’s ultimate plan in our lives. God cares more about the eternal person than He does about the temporal person of flesh. And if a sacrifice, or an ache and pain in the flesh fulfills God’s plan for our spiritual, eternal future; or saves your or someone else’s soul, then it is all worth it to God in the end.  And that’s where we are at now—the end.

Time is short and Satan is at war with the Kingdom of heaven as never before. He wants to suck the blood of spiritual life out of every believer and destroy any opportunity of every non-believer to ever come to Christ to begin with. My friends, my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ, as Ambassadors in Christ,  we absolutely cannot allow this to happen!

I always say that God is the head, Jesus is the mouth, (or the word of God),  and the Holy Spirit is the hands of God. But what are we? According to Isaiah 66, the earth is God’s footstool, the place that supports God’s feet. As His feet, we are responsible for carrying the Word of God throughout the earth! We are responsible for obeying God and keeping a pure heart.

When Jesus washed the feet of His disciples, not only was He displaying a great act of humility, but He was also giving us a sign that He would cleanse us and sanctify us, the feet of God, through His death and resurrection.

Why then is it so hard to obey God? Other than the fact that we live in an evil world who exalts Satan, why do we continue making the same mistakes to no avail? We feel ashamed, yet we continue sinning to the point we stop apologizing to God because we feel like fools.

In 2011, while sitting on the edge of my bed speaking with the Lord, I had a realization that would forever change my life. God spoke to me in my heart and He said, “Lyn, why is it so hard to serve Me and obey Me?”

I said, “Lord, I don’t know. I’m frustrated. No matter how hard I try, there are these sinful things I am doing and I can’t seem to get it right. I do it. I pray. I feel bad. Tomorrow comes. I do it again. What’s wrong with me, God?”

He replied, “Well, it’s because you do not love me.”

I was silent for a moment. This must not be God, I thought, because there was no way I didn’t love Him!  I loved the Lord with all of my heart and no one could tell me otherwise, not even God Himself (no PUN intended).

“Father, that’s not true! I do love you! What do you mean? I don’t understand.” I asked.

He answered, “Lyn, just like the majority of those who call themselves Christians, you love what you know about me. After all, I represent everything that is good to many people. Love your neighbor, give, forgive, and everything else.  Who wouldn’t love what they know about me, right?”

I agreed.

He continued, “So I want you to think about that. Do you love what you know about me?”

I was quick to answer, “Yes! Of course I do!”

He continued, “But you, like most, are not IN LOVE with Me.”

I couldn’t comprehend what He really meant. I asked, “Lord, could you please explain what you mean? I don’t totally understand.”

He answered, “Lyn, I want you to think about a past boyfriend, when you first met.  Do you remember how they were all you thought about? All you dreamed about? All you talked about, to the point people were sick of hearing about that person? But you didn’t care and you were not ashamed.  You talked and talked and talked anyways…

“Remember eating, sleeping nothing but that person? You would wait up until all hours of the night just for even a quick phone call. You would drive across town on little sleep just to see them for a few moments. You would read every note, write long notes, and daydream constantly. And no matter how much you wrote or read, you couldn’t seem to express the feelings in your heart. You would put on your best outfit and best face daily, wanting to impress that person. You would count the minutes and hours until you could see that person again.  And, you would joyously do anything for that person to make them happy and please them.

“As time went on, this love and passion you had never left you; rather, it grew stronger until it became something even deeper. Unfortunately, the other person’s flame had died only about two months into the relationship. And so you were left alone and frustrated with a whole lot of love, but nothing in return. Do you remember things like this?”

“Yes, Lord. I know exactly what you mean,” I answered.

He went on, “So, my daughter, how many people love me like that? Do you rush home to read my letters? Stay up late to talk to me? Talk about me to others shamelessly and excitedly, though they are sick of hearing about Me, but it doesn’t stop you?  Do you ever drive across town to visit Me, even just once a week?  How often do you write me little notes and then read them aloud to me?  The only difference is that you don’t have to put on your best dress and best face to impress Me. All you have to do is be you, and love me!  How often do you count the minutes and hours until you can spend some time with me again? How often do you really go out of your way to please me?

“Be completely honest, because I am God and I already know the answer. It’s a matter of whether you choose to honestly admit it or not. You would have done all of these things in the past for a man, yet you rarely do any of these things for me. In fact, it’s like pulling teeth just to get you to do any of these things once in a great while.”

I hesitated. I knew the answer but I just couldn’t seem to say it. How could I tell God that I was not in love with Him, especially after hearing His detailed explanation?

I drew in a deep breath and then exhaled, “Lord, I can hide nothing from you. I guess, after listening, I realize that I am not really ‘in love’ with you. The problem is that I don’t know how to fall in love with you and I’m going to need you to show me.”

He said, “Why, because I’m not real enough to you?”

I answered, “No, no! that’s not it. Well, on second thought, in a sense I guess. As a human, I relate love to touching, feeling, seeing, being close, hearing a human voice and more. I can’t have any of these things with You and so I don’t know how to fall in love with you.  I really do want to, Father, but I just don’t know how.”

It was either later that day or a few days later, I was sitting on the edge of my bed once again, staring out the window. It was a warm, perfectly still day. There was not a single breeze.  Suddenly, the most peaceful breeze I have ever felt circled round about me, and there was a smell accompanying the breeze that I am unable to this day to describe. It was the most beautiful smell I have ever smelled in my life and literally out of this world! The best I can describe it is fresh, and It lasted for only a moment. That’s when I heard the Lord speak to me again.

He said, “Lyn, can you see the wind?”

I answered, “No.”

He replied, “But you can see all that the wind touches! So is my love…”

Wow—imagine that! We can’t see God, but we can see everything He touches in this world, and out of this world!

So many of us are trying so hard to serve God, trying to do what the Bible tells us to do; what our favorite preacher or teacher encourages us to do,  and then some. But we seem to fail more than we succeed.

The reason we can’t seem to succeed is because we are doing it out of a sense of obligation instead of doing it because we happily want to do it. In fact, not only should we want to do it, we should daydream about doing it and long to do it.

If you go to God today and ask Him to show you how to fall in love with Him, He will show you.  When this happens, you will long to please Him and be excited about it instead of forcing yourself to do what you are told is the right thing to do.  Can you see the difference?

If a person was brought to you, and someone said to you, “Here is the person you will marry. You have to obey this person and spend your entire life pleasing them. I know you do not know them and you don’t care about them, though you are attracted slightly to some of the sketchy photos you’ve seen and wonderful things you’ve read. But this is what you have to do because it’s the right thing to do.”

How successful do you think you will be at pleasing this person? You would fail at every corner!

How many of us have lost our passion, or our fire? How often do we go through a battle that seems to weaken us, and we either give up or feel like giving up? I believe most of you listening know exactly what I mean.

Has your fire dimmed or died? Are you struggling to serve God because you are trying to do what is right, you believe in what the Word of God tells you to do, but you’re just not feeling it? In other words, instead of having a strong passion and drive to do the will of God, it’s something you are having to force yourself to do? Or maybe you have that passion in certain areas of your walk, but not in others, and so in other areas you struggle? Again, I feel that many of us can relate.

None of us know the day, the time, nor the hour, but we know we are in the season. We know we ARE the generation who will witness the return of Jesus Christ. Now is NOT the time to give up. Now is NOT the time to let the fire of the Holy Spirit anointing dim! Now is NOT the time to let Satan creep around in our homes, in our lives, in our children, in our marriages, in our relationships! Now IS the time to STOP Satan dead in his tracks and start claiming the healing power of Jesus Christ and tell Satan where to go! It is time to fight fire with fire because if we don’t, the fires of hell are going to consume us and our families! It is not time for political correctness. It is not time to sugar coat the truth! Time is running out and it’s time to repent and get our houses in order, and time to bring Jesus Christ and the message of salvation to the lost!

Hebrews 4:12 states, “For the word of God is living and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing even to the division of soul and spirit, and of joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.”

We must tell people the truth because the truth is what sets us free. But people are not speaking the truth of God’s Word. Therefore the soul and spirit are not being divided as they should, and the core of man to his joints and marrow is rotting.

John 8:31-32 says, “Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed. 32 And you shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free.”

Why aren’t people being set free from the bondage of sin and the chains Satan has placed around them? Because people are not hearing the truth! Instead, the truth is being glossed over with all sorts of sugar or avoided altogether, and the family is falling apart. Satan has a strategy and he has been working at this for thousands of years—destroy the family, destroy the church. Satan is the father of lies—the master deceiver! And he knows exactly what he is doing.

The two main weapons Satan uses today is the destruction of the family so he can infiltrate the church by preventing people from telling the truth so they are not convicted and will not repent. He does not want people to fall in love with God because he wants their fires to fizzle so they will be rendered helpless and never be able to completely please the Lord.  He wants people to give up, lay down, and die spiritually so he can lead them on a path straight to hell!

There are so many deceptions, and the enemy is working double time while many of God’s people are too busy doing other things. Too busy sleeping, too busy worrying about their problems, too busy trying to fix it themselves instead of trusting in God and giving it over to Him. People are blinded by Satan and his false ‘light’, and they are on their way to hell without even realizing it!

It’s time for the Ephesians 6 church to rise up and wage holy hell on the kingdom of hell on this earth! We are God’s feet and as His soldiers we have orders from our commander-in-chief, God almighty, to carry out!

We must know who we are in Jesus Christ and we must know our enemy. If we know who we are in Christ, not only will we trust God, but we will carry our weapons of warfare with us at all times and use them mightily against our enemy for the pulling down of strongholds. If we know our enemy, Satan, and his strategies, then we will recognize them immediately, therefore closing all the doors and filling all the cracks where the enemy is seeping in.

Earlier I mentioned Ephesians 6:10-20 because it clearly tells us what we are up against and how to win the war.

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand.

14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints— 19 and for me, that utterance may be given to me, that I may open my mouth boldly to make known the mystery of the gospel, 20 for which I am an ambassador in chains; that in it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

This is a passage most of us are familiar with. Yet, how many of us are actually remembering that our war is NOT against people, but demonic powers all around us in this world?  And, how many of us are doing exactly what this passage tells us to do daily in our lives?

These are the end times. There is a serious battle going on in the spirit unlike any other before this time. Are you going to be a brave, faithful soldier in God’s Army or a slave in Satan’s pit of destruction?  The choice is yours, but time is of the essence.
